Other Therapies

These modalities may be used during your treatments if needed

Cupping

Cupping is a therapy designed to stimulate the flow of blood and Qi within the superficial muscle layers. It is used for sore muscles, tension, neck pain, and the common cold. In this therapy, small glass cups are placed on specific areas of your body. A vacuum is created under the cup using heat. They may be moved over an affected area or left in place.

TDP Lamp

In clinical applications in China and other Eastern Countries for over 15 years, TDP mineral lamp therapy has been found to treat ailments such as chronic wounds, joint pain, arthritis, back pain, weight loss, infertility, injuries and some skin conditions like herpes and psoriasis etc. It does this by reducing inflammation, calming pain, improving micro-circulation and balancing metabolism.

Herbs

We also carry several different types of Chinese Herbs

and Supplements

Insurance and Payment Information

Erica is a preferred provider for Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield and accepts other insurance that covers acupuncture. We encourage patients to call their plans to see if acupuncture is a covered service and how many visits they are allowed. We do all insurance billing.

Unfortunately, Medicare does cover acupuncture. Some Medi-care supplements do cover acupuncture and we encourage you to call to see if it is covered. We will provide a superbill to submit to your secondary for reimbursement.

We accept referrals for Worker's Compensation and Personal Injury cases.

Payments for services are due at the time of service and we accept cash, check or credit cards. For insurance billing, we ask that only your co-payment be paid if your deductible has been met. If you have not met your deductible you will be charged the insurance rate until it has been met.
